Yes they are difficult but I learned how to pronounce words by rules....For example it seems that consonant starts another syllable unless there are two consonants together. The first consonant ends the syllable and the second one start the next syllable. Words I find difficult are ang and ng,,,,,,,,,also two vowels together ...the first ends that syllable and the second is pronounced individually,,,,,ex:Kaibigan......naiintindihan, paalam......nauuhaw...I am very new in attempting to learn Tagalog. It is difficult for me in forming sentences and reading tagalog. I use Filipino 101 , Rosetta Stone ,Nemo, and Phrase Pack...I need to learn before I travel to the Philippines to visit....maybe in 3 months....?

maybe add to your list; ikinagagalak , naiintindihan, napakaganda, binibining
