Becky: When it's used as a slang expression, it means "joke."

Becky: When it's used as a slang expression, it means "gossip."

Becky: is yet another term of onomatopoeic origins. It imitates the sound of a buzzer in a quiz show which indicates that the player’s answer is wrong.
Jay: Be careful when you use this word.
Becky : A younger person saying this to an older person sounds rude. Now let's hear an example sentence.

Becky: It’s an abbreviation of
Jay: ganoon
Becky: meaning "like that." But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "is that so?"

Becky: Use this slang expression when you reply to a statement with doubt or disbelief in a non-offensive way. This is best translated with the English expression "Is that so?"
