Cultural Insight
John: Now it's time for a quick cultural insight.
Camille: In the Philippines, when you are asked to be a godfather for the Christening of a child or in the entourage of a wedding, it's better not to refuse. It's rude to deny roles for big events in Filipino culture. This may even create a rift in friendship. In minor events though, it's totally fine to just refuse politely.

Outro

John: And that's all for this lesson. Don't forget to check out the lesson notes, and we'll see you in the next lesson!
Camille: Maraming salamat!
