John: Here's the informal way to ask "Where is the station?" in Filipino.
Camille: [Normal] Saan ang istasyon?
John: First is a word meaning "where."
Camille: [Normal] saan [Slow] saan
John: Next is the word meaning "the."
Camille: [Normal] ang [Slow] ang
John: Last is the word meaning "station."
Camille: [Normal] istasyon [Slow] istasyon
John: Note the rising intonation. Listen again to the informal question meaning "Where is the station?"

John: Now, imagine you're speaking to a stranger. Here's the formal way to say, "Go straight."
